He provides calm, one-to-one hypnotherapy support for adults, teenagers and children in Brisbane and online, with a special interest in anxiety, panic attacks, overthinking and phobias.

What is clinical hypnotherapy?
Clinical hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation, focused attention and therapeutic suggestion to support personal goals and wellbeing. It is different from stage hypnosis or entertainment hypnosis.
During a private hypnotherapy session, you remain aware and in control. You cannot be made to do anything against your values or wishes. The session is collaborative, with the focus placed on what you want help with.
Hypnotherapy is not a replacement for diagnosis, medical treatment, psychological therapy or psychiatric care. If you have significant or persistent mental-health symptoms, speak with a GP, psychologist or psychiatrist.
Areas people seek hypnotherapy support for
Clive provides tailored support for a wide range of personal goals and anxiety-related concerns, including:
Anxiety and constant worry
Panic attacks and fear of panic sensations
Overthinking, rumination and racing thoughts
Social anxiety, shyness and fear of judgement
Stress, burnout and feeling overwhelmed
Confidence and self-belief
Public speaking, tests, driving tests and performance pressure
Fears and phobias
Sleep anxiety and difficulty switching off
Habits, motivation and procrastination
Children’s and teenagers’ anxiety and confidence concerns
Every session is individually tailored. The focus is on your goals, experiences, needs and pace rather than a one-size-fits-all programme.
A calm, private one-to-one approach
As a Clinical Member of the Australian Hypnotherapy Association, Clive works in a respectful and professional setting. You are encouraged to ask questions, set boundaries and take the process at a pace that feels manageable.
Your session may include discussion of what you would like to change, guided hypnosis and practical strategies to support your goals between appointments.
Clive’s approach is especially suited to people who want calm, non-judgmental support for anxiety, overthinking and confidence difficulties.

Frequently asked questions about clinical hypnotherapy
What happens in a clinical hypnotherapy session?
A session is tailored to your goals. It usually involves a discussion about what you would like support with, followed by guided relaxation and therapeutic hypnosis where appropriate.
Will I be in control during hypnosis?
Yes. You remain aware and in control throughout hypnosis. You can speak, move, pause or stop at any time.
Is clinical hypnotherapy the same as stage hypnosis?
No. Stage hypnosis is entertainment. Clinical hypnotherapy is a private, goal-focused process intended to support personal wellbeing and behavioural change.
Can hypnotherapy replace a psychologist or doctor?
No. Hypnotherapy does not replace diagnosis, medical care, psychological therapy or psychiatric support. Speak with a qualified health professional for significant, severe or persistent symptoms.
Is hypnotherapy suitable for children and teenagers?
Clive works with children and teenagers, with sessions adapted to their age, needs and goals. Parents or carers can discuss the most suitable arrangement when making an enquiry.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your goals, circumstances and the concern you would like to work on. No number of sessions or particular outcome can be guaranteed.
Are online hypnotherapy appointments available?
Online appointments may be available if attending the Brisbane clinic is not practical.
