PRESENT MOMENT (IN THE NOW) HYPNOSIS
Focus on your breathing. Take a deep breath in, hold it for a few seconds, then let it out slowly. Repeat this cycle until you feel relaxed, then think about what's going on around you right now.
Think about the people and things that are here with you. You might hear someone nearby whistling or humming to themselves as they walk down the street. Maybe there's music playing from a shop across the way or someone talking on their phone nearby you might even be able to pick up some of what they're saying!
You might also notice how different things smell. If it's hot outside, there will be scents from nearby stores or food stalls that have been cooking all day long; when it rains, there will be wet earthy smells from puddles and plants growing in gardens around town; if it's windy outside, you may even catch whiffs of salt water from nearby beaches where people have been swimming earlier today!
Remembering these details will help remind you that this is real life—not just some dreamworld where everything feels surreal and out of place all the time like it does when we're sleeping too much (or not enough!).
The present moment is where you are right now.
It's the place you can't get to by thinking about it. It's the place you can only get to by being it.
It's not always easy to be fully present and aware in the moment, but it's worth it!
