Anxiety Melt Away Hypnosis | Zoom Session Award Winning Anxiety Hypnotherapy Brisbane Clive Westwood
When anxiety is high, you want your mind and body to settle as quickly as possible. You may feel a tight chest, racing thoughts, stomach tension, fear of panic sensations or the exhausting sense that your brain is always looking for danger.
A Zoom hypnotherapy session can offer a calm, private space to practise more helpful responses to anxiety. No session can guarantee that anxiety will “melt away,” but some people find guided relaxation and focused support useful.
A calmer response to anxious thoughts and sensations
Anxiety often creates a cycle. A thought triggers physical tension, the tension feels alarming and the mind then searches for more reasons to worry. Over time, this can lead to avoidance, poor sleep and less confidence in your ability to cope.
The goal is not to fight every anxious feeling. It is to notice what is happening, settle your body and take a manageable next step.
Hypnotherapy may help some people practise slower breathing, reduced physical tension and a more balanced response to anxious thoughts.
What happens in a Zoom anxiety hypnosis session?
Your appointment begins with a conversation about what has been happening and what you would like support with. You may discuss general anxiety, panic symptoms, social anxiety, health worries, overthinking, sleep anxiety, specific fears or stress.
The hypnosis approach is then tailored to your goals, experiences and pace. You remain awake, aware and in control throughout. Hypnosis is not mind control, and you can speak, move or stop at any time.
A session may help you practise:
slowing anxious breathing
relaxing tension in the shoulders, chest or stomach
stepping back from worst-case thoughts
reducing fear of anxiety sensations
focusing on one useful next action
preparing for stressful but safe situations
creating a calmer routine before sleep
No outcome can be guaranteed. Progress is individual and may be supported by practice, practical changes and appropriate healthcare.
Prepare safely for online hypnosis
Choose a quiet, private room where you can sit or lie down comfortably without interruption. Use a stable internet connection, a charged device and headphones if they help you feel more private. Keep water nearby.
Never participate in hypnosis while driving, cycling, walking near traffic, operating machinery, supervising a safety-critical task or doing anything requiring your full attention.
For teenagers and children, a parent or carer should be involved in deciding whether online support is appropriate and in creating a safe setup.
