Hypnotherapy Brisbane Zoom Demonstration Being Present
This Zoom hypnotherapy demonstration explores a simple but powerful skill: returning attention to the present moment. It offers a look at the calm, conversational style used in online sessions with Clive Westwood.
The demonstration is educational only. It does not assess your personal needs or replace a private, tailored appointment.
What it means to be present
When anxiety or stress is high, the mind often moves away from the moment you are in. You may replay what happened, worry about what could happen, analyse every thought or feel disconnected from the people and tasks in front of you.
Being present does not mean never planning or remembering. It means noticing when your mind has become caught in unhelpful rumination or worry, then gently returning attention to your breathing, body sensations, surroundings and next useful action.
A hypnotherapy demonstration may show how guided relaxation, focused attention and simple imagery can support that return to the present.
What this Zoom demonstration may show
The session may demonstrate how a person is guided to slow their breathing, soften physical tension and observe thoughts without automatically following them. You may see the use of simple cues such as noticing the feet on the floor, the feeling of breathing or sounds in the room.
Hypnosis is not mind control. You remain awake, aware and in control throughout. You can speak, move, ask questions or stop the process at any time.
A demonstration cannot promise the same experience or result for every viewer. A private session is adapted to the individual’s goals, experiences and pace.
Online hypnotherapy from a safe, private space
Online appointments may be available through Zoom where suitable. For a session, choose a quiet, private place where you can sit or lie down comfortably without interruptions. A stable internet connection, charged device and water nearby are helpful. Headphones may offer additional privacy.
Never watch or take part in hypnosis while driving, cycling, walking near traffic, operating machinery or doing anything that requires your full attention.
For children and teenagers, a parent or carer should be involved in deciding whether online support is appropriate and in arranging a safe, private setup.

Frequently asked questions
Can Zoom hypnotherapy help me be more present?
No outcome can be guaranteed. Online hypnotherapy may help some people practise relaxation and present-moment awareness, while this skill develops with repetition.
Will I be under someone else’s control?
No. Hypnosis is a cooperative process. You remain aware and can communicate, move or stop at any time.
Does this demonstration replace a private session?
No. It is educational only. Individual support requires a conversation about your own goals and circumstances.
Can I watch this video anywhere?
Watch only when it is safe to give it your attention. Do not watch while driving, cycling, operating machinery or in any situation where distraction or relaxation could be unsafe.
Individual results vary. Hypnotherapy is complementary support and is not a replacement for medical, psychological, psychiatric, addiction or emergency care.
