letting go Hypnosis Demonstration | Award Winning Anxiety Hypnotherapy Brisbane | Clive Westwood

This letting-go hypnosis demonstration offers an educational look at how guided relaxation, focused attention and present-moment awareness can support a calmer relationship with stress and mental overload.

It is not about erasing memories, forcing forgiveness or pretending something never mattered. The demonstration is about creating space around thoughts and feelings that may be taking up too much of your energy.

What letting go can mean

You may be holding onto a difficult conversation, a mistake, an unmet expectation, anger, guilt, regret, a relationship or a worry about the future. The more you try to push the thought away, the more it may return.

Letting go can mean noticing that a thought or emotion is present without allowing it to control every moment of your day. It can mean recognising what you cannot change, caring for yourself in the present and choosing one useful next step.

A hypnosis demonstration may show how attention can shift from mental replay to breathing, body awareness and a calmer focus.

What you may see in this demonstration

The video may include guided breathing, relaxation and imagery that encourage physical tension to soften. You may see suggestions to observe thoughts without chasing every one, to allow feelings without becoming overwhelmed and to return attention to the present.

Hypnosis is not mind control. You remain awake, aware and in control throughout. You can speak, move, ask questions or stop at any time.

This demonstration cannot assess your individual circumstances, diagnose a concern or guarantee an outcome.

A tailored approach in a private session

In a private session, Clive Westwood begins by discussing what is happening for you and what you would like help with. The session is then tailored to your goals, experiences and pace.

People may seek support for anxiety, stress, overthinking, panic symptoms, sleep worries, low confidence, grief, fear of judgment, phobias or emotional overload.

Hypnotherapy may help some people practise relaxation and more helpful coping responses. No outcome can be guaranteed.

If you are experiencing severe or persistent anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, obsessive thoughts, substance use or thoughts of self-harm, speak with a GP, psychologist, psychiatrist or another qualified health professional. In an emergency, contact emergency services.

Frequently asked questions

Can this demonstration make me let go straight away?

No outcome can be guaranteed. It may demonstrate relaxation and present-moment techniques, but each person’s experience is different.

Does letting go mean I have to forgive or forget?

No. Letting go can mean reducing the impact something has on you without excusing it, forgetting it or making a decision before you are ready.

Does this video replace a private session?

No. It is educational only. A private session allows support to be tailored to your individual concerns.

Can I watch it anywhere?

Watch only when it is safe to focus. Do not watch while driving, cycling, operating machinery or doing anything requiring your full attention.

Individual results vary. Hypnotherapy is complementary support and is not a replacement for medical, psychological, psychiatric, trauma-informed or emergency care.
