Hypnotherapy Brisbane Hypnosis Zoom Be in Control of your mind

When your mind feels busy, anxious or pulled in every direction, it can seem as though your thoughts are in charge. You may react quickly, overthink every decision, replay conversations or struggle to switch off.

Zoom hypnosis for being in control of your mind is about developing greater self-awareness, calm and choice in how you respond.

What control of your mind really means

No one can control every thought, every emotion, other people or everything that happens in life. The most useful kind of control is self-regulation: noticing what is happening inside you, pausing before you react and choosing a response that fits your values.

You may not choose the first anxious thought that appears, but you can practise what you do next. You can return attention to your breathing, body and surroundings. You can decide whether to follow the thought, take a small action or give yourself space before responding.

Hypnosis may help some people rehearse this calmer, more deliberate state.

Online hypnosis from a private space

A Zoom hypnotherapy appointment allows you to receive one-to-one support from a comfortable, private location. The session begins with a conversation about what is happening for you and what you would like to change.

You remain awake, aware and in control throughout. Hypnosis is not mind control. It is a cooperative process using focused attention, relaxation, guided imagery and suggestions tailored to your goals.

Online sessions may help you practise:

  • slowing down racing thoughts

  • releasing physical tension

  • calming your breathing

  • stepping back from unhelpful mental habits

  • pausing before reacting to stress

  • focusing on one useful next action

  • building confidence in your ability to cope

No outcome can be guaranteed. Meaningful change is often supported by repeated practice and real-world action.

Prepare safely for a Zoom session

Choose a quiet, private place where you can sit or lie down comfortably and are unlikely to be interrupted. Ensure you have a stable internet connection, a charged device and water nearby. Headphones may be useful for extra privacy.

Never take part in hypnosis while driving, cycling, walking near traffic, operating machinery, supervising a safety-critical task or doing anything that requires your full attention.

For children and teenagers, a parent or carer should be involved in deciding whether online support is suitable and in creating a safe environment.

Frequently asked questions

Can hypnosis give me total control of my mind?

No. Hypnosis cannot remove all thoughts or give anyone control over other people. It may help some people practise self-awareness, calmness and more deliberate responses.

Will I be under Clive’s control during Zoom hypnosis?

No. You remain aware and can communicate, move or stop at any time.

Can Zoom hypnosis help anxiety and overthinking?

It may be useful complementary support for some people. If symptoms are severe or significantly affect daily life, seek support from a GP or psychologist as well.

Is online hypnosis private?

You can support privacy by choosing a quiet, secure location and using headphones if helpful. Discuss any specific privacy concerns before booking.

Individual results vary. Hypnotherapy is complementary support and is not a replacement for medical, psychological, psychiatric, addiction or emergency care.
