Hypnotherapy Brisbane Zoom Letting go of Stress and Anxiety
Stress and anxiety can make it hard to feel settled anywhere. Your body may stay tense, your mind may keep racing and you may feel as though you are carrying the day’s pressure long after it is over.
A Zoom hypnotherapy session for letting go of stress and anxiety offers private, one-to-one support from your own comfortable space.
Letting go of pressure, one step at a time
You may not be able to remove every demand, responsibility or uncertainty from your life. But you can practise changing your response to the stress they create.
Letting go does not mean ignoring problems or pretending you are fine. It can mean releasing the tension you are carrying, stepping back from repetitive worry and focusing your energy on what you can do now.
Hypnotherapy may help some people practise a calmer physical and mental state through focused attention, guided relaxation, breathing and imagery.
What happens in an online Zoom session?
Your appointment begins with a conversation about what has been happening and what you would like help with. You may discuss stress, anxiety, panic symptoms, overthinking, sleep problems, social worries, work pressure or a specific fear.
The session is then tailored to your goals, experiences and pace. You remain awake, aware and in control throughout. Hypnosis is not mind control, and you can speak, move or stop at any time.
A tailored session may help you practise:
slowing your breathing
relaxing tension in the body
reducing the urge to overanalyse
noticing anxious thoughts without following every one
settling before sleep
focusing on one manageable next action
rebuilding confidence in your ability to cope
No outcome can be guaranteed. Progress is individual and often supported by regular practice, practical changes and appropriate healthcare.
Prepare safely for a Zoom appointment
Choose a quiet, private space where you can sit or lie down comfortably and will not be interrupted. Use a stable internet connection, a charged device and headphones if they help you feel more private. Keep water nearby.
Never take part in hypnosis while driving, cycling, walking near traffic, operating machinery, supervising a safety-critical task or doing anything requiring your full attention.
For teenagers and children, a parent or carer should be involved in deciding whether online support is suitable and in creating a safe setup.
